Year 6 - Fairtrade

For their Catholic Social Teaching project, Year 6 are focusing on how 'Work is important in God's plan for adults and therefore, jobs and pay should be fair'. Year 6 will be researching about what it means for a product to be 'Fairtrade' and the impact this has on workers around the world. They will then be promoting Fairtrade products in the school community. Year 6 will be linking this to St Oscar Romero who spent much of his life supporting those with not enough money to live and more current figures such as Sadio Mane.
