Year 6 - Fairtrade

For their Catholic Social Teaching Project, Year 6 focused on Distributive Justice - making sure workers receive fair pay and good working conditions. They led an assembly to the school and their parents to share what they had learnt about Fairtrade, before baking their own cakes made with fairtrade ingredients. These cakes were then sold (along with other fairtrade products) at the school fayre. The proceeds were then donated to CAFOD through their World Gifts scheme.
